Integraliah revolutionizes Ulpan to help meet the needs of new Olim, and enable them to flourish and feel at home in Israel. Integraliah is a social enterprise created in response to the concrete and urgent needs of new Israeli immigrants. Sadly, every year, more than 30% of olim go back to their country of origin due to their inability to integrate into Israeli society. These olim often fail to find jobs that suit their financial needs and skill-sets, and get lost in the maze of Israel’s bureaucracy. Some struggle to adapt to the Israeli mentality, while others are unable to recreate a genuine, warm social network. While the symptoms are numerous, they all derive from the same fundamental problem: without a strong command of the Hebrew language, it’s nearly impossible to have a successful Aliyah. Unfortunately, many Olim give up on learning Hebrew due to a variety of factors including inflexible hours, ineffective teaching methods, and content that isn’t adapted to their needs. In order to change this reality and solve these problems, we created Integraliah. Integraliah isn't merely a school to learn Hebrew; it's a family that helps Olim integrate into Israelo society and become involved in all aspects of Israeli life. At Integraliah we designed an innovative, efficient, and foolproof method which allows students to learn useful Hebrew in a fun way. Our classes combine traditional teachings to strengthen fundamentals, with more intimate coaching sessions where students will have the opportunity to learn in a more practical manner and simulate experiences that they can apply to their everyday lives. Through this approach, students will not only be learning the language, they will be developing a deeper connection to Israeli culture and society.
