Desulphurisation of high sulphur hydrocarbon products is achieved today using Hydro-Desulphurisation (HDS). HDS is a high pressure and high temperature process that requires substantial amounts of energy and hydrogen. The Ultraclean Technology solution does not require hydrogen or the high temperatures and pressures of the HDS process, resulting in a significant reduction in carbon footprint, is less capital intensive, operationally simpler, and safer to use.
