The showroom gallery is located in the Crossroads Building at 16250 Northland Drive - Suite 102, Southfield, Michigan. Our hours are Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1pm - 6pm or by appointment. Umoja Fine Arts has a solid history and is committed to survival through relentless excellence and high standards. Umoja means "unity" and feels cultural awareness is a big part of self-esteem. Umoja was founded by the Grant Family for the following purposes: Displaying American life in a positive form and preserving and recording the historical accounts in graphic form. Ian Grant, CEO/Curator of Umoja Fine Arts gained expertise of the art business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the years of 1984 - 1989. He became acquainted with publishing procedures, the medium of art, and identification of the functions of distribution and how to relate the functions to marketing decisions. As it is a family business, Ian's wife, Tanji Grant, serves as the Vice President. Her knowledge and understanding of customer buying trends, collection habits, style, form and color complement the business. Umoja has a team of highly skilled artists who offer a vast array of positive art choices depicting American historical accounts at one end of the stratum and the powerful high-resolution modern art images on the opposite end. The company also manages the estate of internationally acclaimed artists. Umoja offers a unique experience with original paintings, bronze sculptures, serigraphs, archival pigment print - 100% cotton rag paper, lithographs, and figurines. Art images range in price from $45 to $1,500 and original art may range in price
