Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd., USA Branch (“UMTB USA”) is a U.S. domestic branch of a foreign financial institution, our parent Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd. in Israel, and as such, is an insured non-member state chartered bank. The branch is regulated by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). We are located in the Los Angeles Downtown Financial District. We opened our doors in 1981 and for the past 30 years served the banking and capital needs of tech ventures, commercial real estate firms, and other middle-market entities. Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd. (“UMTB”) is one of Israel’s largest banks and operates through 225 branches in Israel and two branches abroad in Europe and the Americas.
