Unabridged Press produces high-quality video, podcast and written stories featuring people who don't typically make the headlines--unsung heroes and overlooked characters. Our flagship projects, which are under the fiscal sponsorship of New Sun Rising are: 1. Look Who's Here! All Abilities Media, hosted and directed by people with disabilities in connection with Point Park University's Center for Media Innovation. 2. Standup Sisters, an event and podcast series featuring Catholic sisters sharing the lives of their community service. We also produce narrative-driven marketing videos, podcast and written content for select nonprofits and companies that align with our mission as a socially beneficial entity. Benefit corporations like ours include positive impacts on society, workers, the community and the environment in addition to profit as legally defined goals. To our knowledge, Unabridged Press is the only media organization locally founded with B-corp principles to ensure the longterm contribution to all of our stakeholders, top to bottom, grass to sky.
