About Unbelievably Resilient (UR)

Unbelievably Resilient, formerly known as Foster Strong, is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is driven by foster care experienced alumni. Our mission is to empower current and former foster youth to reclaim their narratives by authentically sharing our own journey’s of moving from trauma to triumph. Through speaking engagements, direct consultations, and more we are a resource to all. Providers, parents, youth, and the child welfare system at large can stand to benefit from our team and the varied skills we bring to the table. From podcasts to informational videos, we believe in elevating the voices of those who have experienced care. Our goal is to rebrand what it means to be care experienced in the realm of child welfare.
