About Unconditional, Senior & Special Dogs

Unconditional’s mission is to provide a proven, scalable solution to one of the greatest problems in animal welfare - the fate of senior and special needs dogs. Our model is innovative in its world-class economic efficiency, and in its collaborative rather than competitive role in the rescue community. Senior and special needs dogs are incredibly lovable and make fantastic family members. Tragically, these dogs are the fastest growing shelter population and are among the most challenging to adopt out. While there are approximately 14,000 animal rescue organizations in the United States, only about 40 (less than 1%!) have missions focused on senior or special needs dogs - the animals who arguably need help the most. Despite the best efforts of these organizations, the reality is that the growing demand far outpaces the ability and capacity to manage. We will rewrite history for these deserving dogs - one that is nothing but positive, uplifting, and inspires everyone to want to be a part. And we want you to be a part of our story. We have ambitious plans, and this is the perfect time to get involved and build a better future for senior and special dogs.
