Undercurrents main purpose is to expose and promote the muses - especially in music. The company exposes music in many different formats including showcases, events and special promotions. Undercurrents also assists musicians with artist development, music services, tips, ideas and an online outlet for their music.. Since 1989, Undercurrents has provided musicians and bands a vehicle to “show their stuff”. The Undercurrents mission is simple - bring fans to the bands and showcase bands to the fans. We give music fans a cool new way to discover new music. Undercurrents is about letting the music speak for itself, and letting the artist speak directly to their fans. We remain committed to the independent musician and will continue to expose new and exciting talent. Undercurrents exists to help musicians and artists make a living from music. Not only do we prepare aspiring musicians for a career in the music industry, we also train experienced musicians to pass on their knowledge to the next generation. The underlying mission of Undercurrents is to increase the number of people who are actively involved in music at all stages in their lives. We therefore operate a policy of open access and we design our own courses and qualifications to ensure they meet the needs of today's musician.
