About Undergraduate Real Estate Scholars

URES is the premier real estate student organization at the University of Houston, where we explore the vast array of opportunities in the ever-expanding Commercial Real Estate industry. Our main objective is to inform and educate students about the whole breadth of real estate, grow & foster their interest in pursuing prosperous careers in the industry, and assist them with securing internships & entry-level positions at reputable commercial real estate investment firms. Our events include educational workshops, guest speakers, & commercial property tours. Through these, we help our members develop both professional & technical skills that they can leverage when securing entry-level positions right out of college and also rely upon moving forward in their careers. We also advertise various professional networking organizations to help students gain exposure to industry professionals from various career paths and ensure students have a wide range of connections to leverage when graduating. Through these efforts, we remain dedicated to the development & advancement of the membership. We prepare our students to succeed and prosper in the commercial real estate industry as professionals.
