About Union Yoga
Union Yoga is more than a studio; it's a sanctuary for healing, growth, and transformation. Established in 2019 by Rex Dean Villena, Union Yoga was born from lived experiences with addiction and recovery, inspired by the belief that yoga is for everyone. We proudly offer trauma-sensitive yoga, inclusively catering to diverse backgrounds, abilities, and needs. At Union, we combine the highest quality Vinyasa and Yin Yoga with science-based techniques to support individuals facing PTSD, addiction, anxiety, and mood disorders. Our mission extends beyond the mat to build strong, supportive communities. Our teachers available for contract work include experienced professionals with 500-hr Yoga Teacher certification, Yoga Therapy certification, and also include licensed mental health clinicians. We stand by three tenets: Inclusivity, Diversity, and Trauma Sensitivity - we have bilingual teachers, as well as are an AAPI owned studio!
