About Unitech Power Systems
Unitech Power Systems is one of Europe's leading electrical power systems consultants. Unitech Power systems was established in 1985. After more than 35 years of operation, the company is well recognized for its expertise of design, analysis and review of electrical power systems. More than 30 specialists support our clients from our offices in Stavanger, Oslo and Fredrikstad, Norway. Unitech Power Systems offer services in all project phases, from early concept development to commissioning, measurements, operation and failure analysis in the electrical power systems. We also deliver systems for online monitoring of the power system performance and early failure warning. Our main markets are the oil & gas, industry and energy sectors. We have performed analyses for most of the installations on the Norwegian continental shelf. Our main service areas are electrical safety & operations support, power system calculations/simulations, grid connections, offshore wind, power management, studies & project support, subsea power system, power electronics & drives, and high voltage cable transmission systems. We perform calculations in software packages like DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Paladin Designbase (formerly EDSA), PSCAD, ETAP, Flux 2D, Matlab and FebDok. Our engineering team have a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience that enables them to support our clients well in around 150 projects annually. We are currently 35 employees, of which more than 30 dedicated power systems engineers. We aim to attract and retain the best specialists in our field and to attract and train those young, enthusiastic engineers that aspire to becoming recognized specialists. We are always on the lookout for additions - young or experienced - that will help further the development of our team.
