The United Football Players Association (UFPA) is 501c4 Domestic Nonprofit Corporation filed in the State of Texas that was founded by, lead, and organized by current and former professional American football players (XFL, CFL, AAF) to facilitate communication, education and empowerment of players not represented by the National Football League Players Association. It is the UFPA’s goal to ensure the health and well-being of professional football players by spearheading issues such as fairness, transparency and overall positive treatment of players on all levels, taking lessons learned from the recent stoppages of the AAF and XFL, as well as the groundswell of interest of organizing on the college football level especially in the wake of Covid-19.
