We have developed the first training tool for League of Legends where players can practice the skills required in the game through repetition. Just like a soccer player trains to improve their shooting, passing, or heading, a League of Legends player should improve their dodging, aiming, or farming. To achieve this, we have created tasks aimed at enhancing their technical skills in the game. In the same way that a soccer player goes to the gym to improve their muscular capacity, a gamer should improve their mouse and keyboard coordination, multitasking ability, or saccadic movements, among other skills. We have developed tasks to enhance their cognitive and perceptual abilities. We have created a training field where players can improve their technical skills in the game, as well as their cognitive and perceptual abilities, through practice and repetition. Additionally, we have created an algorithm that, based on the player's current performance in each skill, generates an individualized weekly routine focused on improving their weak points. Using the football analogy, a footballer has audiovisual sessions and coaches have countless statistics, but they primarily invest their time on a training field with dynamic training tasks proposed by the coach. We are the training field, the tasks, and the virtual personal coach for League of Legends players.
