About United Immigrant Women's Council
UIWC is a Dallas-based organization that uses creative videos and virtual workshops to support immigrant women in both the adjustment to life in the United States and longer term goals such as building a business or going to college. UIWC’s content is for immigrant women by immigrant women. Our team’s collective connections to Middle Eastern, Asian, African, and Latin American diaspora communities has enabled us to have tutorials in ten different languages. We focus on all immigrant women and not only recently emigrated women because issues such as learning English and getting a job can still exist well after their first year living in America. UIWC hopes to uplift and encourage every woman that visits our virtual space that their American dream can come true.
