Several years ago, CMSS’s Director of Nursing, Rose Policarpio, came up with a solution: she began recruiting nurses and therapists from the Philippines, working with individuals who aspired to live in the United States and had a skill set that is often difficult to find and retain domestically. Today, UMHR mainly recruits from the Philippines and partners with a licensed Manila-based recruitment company.
