About United Offshore Services
Founded in 1993, United Offshore Services is a privately held Dutch company that, together with carefully selected partners, is a European technology leader in the design, production and supply of high-quality steel wire ropes, lifting equipment and related products with a large diameter intended for the maritime, industrial and offshore markets. With the ISO 9001 LRQA certification, the company has grown to meet the ever-increasing demands of its customers with a strong reputation for quality, expertise and service. The office, production and storage facilities are situated in Moerdijk, the Netherlands in a fast growing industrial area located just 30km south of Rotterdam (Euro Port) & 60km north of Antwerp (Belgium) with local deep water harbour facilities for loading / discharging of barges & other sea going vessels making it an ideal location for handling heavy lifting equipment etc. The production hall is equipped with a 2500 Mt swaging press for the production of single laid slings terminated with Flemish soft / hard eyes from 44mm up to 102mm diameter & two large diameter splicing units capable of splicing cable-laid wire ropes up to 520mm diameter with a separate hall for the production of cable-laid grommets.
