About United Peace International
We are United Peace International - UPI, a 501(c)(3), US charitable organization, powered by main organizers from Japan and supported by Global Venture Capital in Silicon Valley. We promote peace by promoting education and solutions to address the world’s most pressing problems. To accomplish this, we will bring together people, ideas and resources, and will operate programs that foster peace through educational efforts that address urgent global issues including, climate change and environmental degradation, population explosion, the growing food crisis, resource depletion, poverty alleviation, wealthy inequity, refugees and human rights, arms control and cooperative approaches to foreign policy. With Nobel Peace Prize laureates as advisors, we will carry out social contribution and peacemaking activities that focus on their areas of expertise. We will utilize the expertise of each Nobel laureate and encourage their participation with the cooperation of corporations and individuals in society. We will create specific projects, and work with the Nobel Peace Prize laureates, as well as various individuals and companies, to develop and promote projects that provide solutions.
