About Universal Chastity Education

Universal Chastity Education (UCE) has a vision to end AIDS by educating people about the health benefits of a lifestyle of abstinence until faithful marriage. UCE has received the unanimous endorsement of the Uganda Joint Christian Council which is co-chaired by Roman Catholic Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, Anglican (Church of Uganda) Archbishop Henry Luke Orombi and Orthodox Archbishop Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga, together representing over 20 million Christians in Uganda. Additional Ugandan, Burundian, Tanzanian and American endorsees include Anglican, Roman Catholic and Lutheran bishops, priests, pastors, educators, physicians and other community leaders. Universal Chastity Education (UCE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the purpose to promote through education sexual abstinence until marriage and marital fidelity as healthy lifestyles free from sexually transmitted diseases including HIV and AIDS.
