University of Birmingham's Investment & Finance Society (‘BIFS’), was created for any student interested in investment, finance, careers and networking. We offer a range of career divisions and events to get an insight into finance, including an Asset Management and Consulting division, Investment Fund, Mentorship Scheme and Speaker Series. Being the largest society on campus enables us to provide the biggest socials with the cheapest prices including balls and bar crawls to name just a few. From bars to restaurants and clubs, we bring our members the best deals, enabling them to get the most out of their time at University. If that were not enough, BIFS has the best football team on campus and with even more sports on the way this year including badminton and netball, we can safely say we are the envy of other sports teams across the campus! Our society is open to anyone and everyone with an open mind and a sense of ambition. Our aim is to give members a mixture of investing, finance, career and social opportunities to help them boost their understanding of the financial sector. With contacts from successful people in the world of finance, we can help you with any and every aspect of your internship and graduate applications.
