About University of Bristol African Caribbean Society
The University of Bristol’s ACS provides a safe space for students to display, discuss and celebrate their culture. We pride ourselves on being more than just a society, in that we strive not only to ensure the general well-being of our members, but also to seek opportunities that will benefit members whilst at university and when they graduate. We are driven to promote diversity within our community and to encourage students not to shy away from speaking up. We are a family and as such, we’re committed to nurturing the talents of all our members, both academic and non-academic. This is achieved through a variety of events, including those that provide opportunities for meaningful conversation, public speaking, networking and leadership throughout the year. Our mission is to stand in solidarity with our community and to bring awareness to issues that affect us, with the hope of influencing change. We are on the following social media accounts @bristolacs for Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook! We also have a website: http://www.bristolacs.com/
