Kalba, once referred to as Ghallah in the early 20th century, is a historic town in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) known for its marine trade links with the Arabian Gulf and India. Today, it is recognized as an exclave of the emirate of Sharjah, positioned strategically between Oman and the emirate of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman coast. The town is adjacent to the notable Khor Kalba, an ecologically significant mangrove reserve on the Omani border.
