University of Rhode Island Foundation & Alumni Engagement (URIFAE) secures contributions from alumni, parents, corporations, foundations, and friends on behalf of the University of Rhode Island. New commitments combined with distributions from the endowment amount to some $30 million for use across the University annually, typically rising from year to year. These resources address a variety of areas including scholarships, faculty, academic programs, and new initiatives to enrich the URI experience. The URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement President leads these efforts under the guidance of a volunteer Board of Directors and in concert with University leadership.
