About University of Sussex Men's Rugby Club
The University of Sussex Men's Rugby Club is comprised of 3 full competitive squads competing in the British Universities and Colleges Sport Leagues. Today, our 1st XV competes in Southern 1A, our 2nd XV in Southern 4A and our 3rd XV in Southern 7A. But Sussex Rugby is about more than just the teams that get to pull on the shirt, it aims to offer a welcoming community to players of all abilities and experience upon arriving at the university. We aim to make the university experience all the more rewarding through playing the game we love and contributing to the wider community through organising social events across campus and fundraising for charity. Our ethos is built upon our sense of brotherhood and inclusion of everyone and anyone willing to contribute to the club and our endeavors in any way shape or form. Recognized as 'Club of the Year' at the University's Sports and Society Awards for three consecutive years in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
