About University of Toronto Concrete Canoe Team
The University of Toronto Concrete Canoe Team is a multidisciplinary design team challenging the unfeasible by making a canoe made of concrete float. We design and construct a canoe made completely out of concrete and compete against universities across Canada in the Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition. During the competition, we race our canoe and present our engineering design processes for our canoe’s concrete mix, hull, and construction in technical documentation and presentations. In addition, each year we improve on our designs to make a more sustainable canoe.
