About University of Ultrasonics
The University of Ultrasonics was established in 2004 by J. Mark Davis and focuses specifically on Ultrasonic and Advanced Ultrasonic training, consulting, research and development. Our knowledge of Ultrasonics in general dates to well over 30 years of industry experience in Power Generation, Petro-Chemical, Structural, and Aerospace industries. Our specific focus on ultrasonics has allowed us to gain proficient working knowledge of fabrication and in-service UT applications on a broad range of materials including most all types of carbon and stainless steel. The University of Ultrasonics was one of the original training members entrusted by Olympus NDT (R/D Tech) to develop a phased array training program and we have continued develop training techniques and programs to meet modern industry needs. In addition to the training, The University of Ultrasonics also specializes in procedure qualification, procedure development, examiner qualifications, and general NDT consulting.
