About University of Victoria Formula Hybrid Team
Our student team focuses on designing and building a gas-electric hybrid formula style race car. This car includes both a gasoline dirtbike engine and electric motor. We enter our car in the Formula Hybrid competition annually in April/May and compete against student engineering teams from across North America. We aim to create a car that has good handling capabilities, as well as a high level of efficiency, so it encourages innovation and automotive design skills in our team members. Interested students can find us in our workshop at Q-hut, which is on the UVic campus across from CARSA. However, the best way to get in contact to our club is by joining our discord server or through our website which has our contact information and links to our social media accounts. New students are always welcome to join our diverse team!
