Established in 2012, the Warwick Bar Society has seen continual growth and progression throughout its existence. Despite only becoming an independent society in 2019, our society has become heavily relied upon by both law and non-law students at Warwick who aspire for a career at the bar. At Warwick Bar Society, we aim to equip our aspiring barristers with access to knowledge, opportunity, and insight, so they are able to tackle the challenges they face on their journey to the bar and excel once they are there. Through a wide variety of events - including talks, workshops and networking events held by distinguished barristers and academics, both on campus and in the various legal microcosms of the United Kingdom - we simply aspire to inspire students to consider a career at the Bar as an equally exhilarating and enthralling alternative to the more commonly publicised branch of the legal profession.
