University of Warwick Men's Football Club (UWMFC) is a leading sporting society on the University of Warwick's campus. Being crowned society of the year 2022, reaching our first cup final in a decade, and our 1st team being strong contenders for promotion to BUCS Premier North, is a testament UWMFC's development. As a result of our partnership with Leamington FC and the introduction of football scholarships at the University, we have established a new standard throughout the club, which we are excited to build on. UWMFC is more than just a football club; it’s a community. With players from a range of backgrounds, we foster a supportive environment for our players throughout their university experiences. We ensure that our members benefit from not only high-level football, but mentorship, mental health support, and career workshops, empowering them to succeed beyond football. Warwick University continues to excel academically, and our members consistently secure successful careers after their studies, demonstrating the potential for pathways into companies. We also take pride in the local community that has supported us, with a commitment to giving back by growing our charity work year on year. UWMFC members have raised over £7000 in the last two years - volunteering at local soup kitchens, schools, and football clubs, to create a ‘giving-back’ culture that we pride ourselves on.
