About Unlocking Potential Therapies
Unlocking Potential Therapies, LLC (UP) was founded in January 2025 as a partnership by Rachel Dowdy and Victoria Baker. Both are registered and licensed occupational therapists who have worked in mental/behavioral health for the majority of their careers. The beginnings of the company were heavily influenced by their previous employers and mentors, Gina Grywalski and Vicki Herr, founders of ABC Therapies, Inc., which began in 1991 and began work in the juvenile-justice practice area in 2008. UP was started to provide skilled occupational therapy services to adolescents in the state of Ohio who are involved in the juvenile justice system.
