@ester dario UNONU concept is Ester Dario’s apparel brainchild. The label is called after the concept – UNO – and its reflection, ONU, a numerical entity with several meanings, entailing multiple signifiers in contrast with one another. Each one akin to the others, all of them complementary. UNONU concept is the blunt result of multiple contaminations, which fashion is only the ultimate representation of. UNONU concept is a language capable to shape and describe the unreal and its many interpretations. At the foundations of these collections lays a design concept reflecting a pathway whose outset is a database of images, suggestions and sensations, where the process of creation gives clothing a soul. The union of evocative landmarks, their mutual mirroring and communication, create the alchemic fusion that makes each article a unique piece. The choice of fabrics and the attention on each segment of the production process make UNONU’s approach environmentally sustainable and supportive of ‘Made in Italy’ productions. UNONU concept presents a mini collection unveiling the rebirth of a fabric and the adornment of an ancestral/contemporary concept.
