About UOW Motorsport

UOW Motorsport is a student racing team from the University of Wollongong. We are a multi-disciplinary team devoted to competing in Formula SAE Australasia, an annual design competition held in Winton VIC. The competition hosts teams from around the world and involves a number of static and dynamic events. In 2022 UOW took home 2nd overall in the EV category as well as 1st in Skid-Pan, 1st in Endurance and a 3rd in Efficiency. Once solely an engineering project, UOW Motorsport now boast students from across the university. We are proud to contribute to the growth of professionalism and quality of graduates in the Illawarra. Our philosophy is to align passionate skilled individuals with skills specific work within a collaborative learning environment. Through the pursuit of motor sporting excellence, our ambitious members strive to become masters in their craft and become a contributing force to their employed industries.
