About Up Foundation

Up Foundation's ambition is to empower people from all generations who are isolated or dependent, ie. the "invisible ones", by giving them access to what is essential to flourish freely in society. Thus enabling self-construction, adaptation and social integration. These essentials go beyond the basic needs of human beings: they are what everyone must have access to in order to create human relations and fully participate to life in Society. It is a vector of social bonds, giving individuals the power to act freely. Up Foundation will coordinate its corporate philanthropy action around 4 areas, through the quest for collective fulfilment which is reinforced by the cooperative culture and values of an entire Group, to provide access to the essentials: food, health, housing, education and culture. None of them are an end in themselves: only the sum of them constitute the basis for individual and collective fulfilment. Through its many actions in support of civil society, the Up Foundation demonstrates the Up Group's willingness and ability to commit to the common good. After 18 years of action under the aegis of the Fondation de France, Up group created its corporate foundation in 2017.
