About UP&S

Founded in the mid-1960s by Charles Huckeba, United Pump & Supply has been a trusted name in the oil and gas industry for decades. From its early days at 301 W. 2nd Street, Odessa, Texas, U.P&S established itself as the exclusive Texsteam pump distributor in the Permian Basin, selling thousands of units over the years. Charles Huckeba later expanded the inventory to include Mercer relief valves and other high-quality products, incorporating the business in 1971. Today, U.P&S continues to offer Texsteam pumps and Mercer relief valves alongside Superior Products' extensive line of chokes, back pressure regulators, and level gauge accessories. The company is now located at 212 E. 2nd Street in Odessa and is owned and operated by Clay Moore, Sara Moore, and Riley Hunter. Sara Moore joined U.P&S in 2000 as Office Manager and Corporate Secretary. Shortly thereafter, Clay Moore also joined the staff, serving in sales and business development. In 2004, the Moores' purchased one-half of U.P&S and were responsible for the daily operations of the company. Over the next 18 years, they oversaw significant growth and expansion of the business. After taking a two-year hiatus in 2020, Clay and Sara returned to U.P&S in August of 2022 as co-owners, this time-sharing ownership with long-time employee Riley Hunter. Clay serves as the Chief of Business Development, Sara as the Chief Executive Officer, and Riley as the Chief of Sales and Operations. Although retired now, Charles Huckeba remains a part of the U.P&S team as President Emeritus.
