About Up Tempo Music Lessons

Up Tempo Music Lessons provides premier music lessons in the Sioux Falls area. Best of all, we travel to your home to teach. Our lessons are specifically designed for kids to enrich lives and build character. We want our students to get the most out of lessons, and that is why our system is based on teaching songs. Students enjoy the material and get the full academic benefit of music. All our students feel like rock stars because our lessons are fun and engaging. Andrew Rogers is the owner of Up Tempo Music Lessons. He grew up in Sioux Falls, SD playing piano and guitar. After high school, he attended South Dakota State University to further his education in music and business. There he managed the recording studio at the Performing Arts Center and took voice lessons among other musical pursuits. Andrew graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Music Merchandising. In 2013, Andrew was presented with the opportunity to work at the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy in Sioux Falls. There, he oversaw over 100 students and trained more than 50 instructors. He had the pleasure of working with the students there to prepare for performances with Slash and Alice Cooper. Andrew currently resides in Brookings with his wife, Abby and their son. He continues to travel to Sioux Falls to teach lessons.
