About UpMajam

At UpMajam, we believe in making homeownership a possibility for hardworking, low-income families. We believe in finding solutions through emerging technology to create a more sustainable financial future for our friends and neighbors! As housing and rental prices skyrocketed in urban areas, low and moderate income families often make the most sacrifices. They may have to work multiple jobs, commute excessive hours, or be forced to accept substandard and overcrowded conditions. While subsidized rental units are a necessary affordable housing solution, these rental payments don't build personal equity that can be tapped into in retirement, like a mortgage, and shouldn't be a long term housing situation. At UpMajam, we also believe in doing our part to care for the environment. 3D concrete printing uses resources more efficiently, reducing waste and trash. By incorporating carbon sequestering hempcrete into our design, we have an ongoing positive effect on our environment. It wouldn't make sense to build all these affordable houses then fill it up with our own employees. That's why, at UpMajam, we also believe in creating equitable working opportunities for our own employees. Please join us in our mission!
