About Upper Cumberland Tourism Association
The Upper Cumberland Tourism Association was chartered as a non-profit organization in 1986 to represent the fourteen counties of the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee in tourism development and promotion. UCTA implements programs to attract more visitors to the region and is a spokesman for the regional tourism industry. UCTA proclaims the importance of tourism to the economy and public morale of the region, state and nation to both the public and government officials at all levels. UCTA also cooperates with and assists programs of other organizations similar in purpose.
