About Uproar Dance Competition

Uproar will rent local theatres and hold dance competitions in each city, with local dance studio owners registering their students to compete in our events. We then offer them world-class adjudication and provide scholarships and other prizes to the winners. We are looking to expand beyond the industry standard by bringing march-madness style tournaments, genre-specific adjudication, and other new innovations to a stagnant yet amazingly successful industry. We have carefully crafted our business plan based on years of experience in the industry and backed by advice from professionals all over the industry, and we will prioritize providing stellar service for the dancers. We also plan to incorporate a “mini-showcase” event for younger performers, offering a non-competitive environment for dancers under the age of 8 to gain confidence in their performance abilities. After performing, the children will be awarded a participation ribbon along with speciality awards being given out such as ‘best costumes’ and ‘most photogenic group’. Eventually, we aim to grow our “mini-showcase” to the level where it becomes a stand-alone event. This judge-free event will be a franchise opportunity, with potential future business owners being given the opportunity to purchase our ‘event-in-a-box’ for the rights to put on events of their own, allowing our brand to expand to more markets.
