About Urban Affordable Housing Association
Our mission is to unite our public and private sector affiliates and collectively deliver affordable, quality and high performing investment properties nationally. Specialising in providing medium to high density urban housing, our strong and established alliances ensure our capacity to deliver high volume, quality properties for investment by individuals, companies, trusts and SMSF's. As part of our long term vision toward housing affordability, UAHA is participating in the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS). The UAHA and its associated development consortiums have been approved by the Federal and State Governments for NRAS participation. UAHA’s participation within the scheme provides a means to allow individual investors and institutions to purchase carefully selected, high yielding Approved Rental Properties and receive the NRAS Rental Incentives provided by the Government under the NRAS Scheme. The incentives to owners of properties with in the scheme are currently $9140 of fully refundable tax-offset or non taxable cash contribution. The incentive moves with the housing component of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) each year.
