For over 20 years Urban Design & Developments Ltd has been one of the UK's leading specialists in the Design, Manufacture and Installation of Glass Canopies, Polycarbonate Roofing, Glass Walkways, Bus Shelters, Vertical Glazing and Decorative Glazed steelwork. Our objective is always to offer excellence in all our services, whilst maintaining value for money. The majority of projects we undertake are bespoke to the exacting requirements of our clients, who we believe benefit from our direct involvement, from conception to final completion. Our involvement at the early stages of a project can save time and costs for all parties involved and we can offer practical design advice along with the best practice methods. Urban Design is headed by its Directors who are supported by a dedicated in house team of designers, fabricators and installers. We offer a full surveying service, computer aided (CAD) design detailing and have a knowledgeable technical department who able to offer advice on a wide range of materials. We are able to provide structural calculations for any of our designs and all our works are covered by our Professional Indemnity Insurance guarantee. We offer schemes in a wide variety of materials, such as Decorated and Galvanised Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel, all which can be professionally finished in an extensive array of surface treatments, to any standard BS or RAL.colour. Glazing or covering materials can be achieved by the use of Toughened or Laminate Safety Glass, Aluminium Sheeting or UV Protected Polycarbonate as appropriate. We will be happy to advise on the type and suitability of materials for each project.
