About Urban Economic Development Association (UEDA)
Through our membership network, community partnerships, and program areas, our mission is to facilitate effective, cross-sector collaboration, meaningful connections, and strengthen capacity in Wisconsin’s community and economic development sector. Our team focuses on broad efforts that help support thriving communities such as increased community investment, sustainable homeownership and affordable housing, financial empowerment, small business growth, regional transportation and workforce mobility. We work closely with our members, partners and the public to develop opportunities for collaboration, capacity building, and facilitating valuable connections through programs such as Bank On Greater Milwaukee, Take Root Milwaukee and Capacity Building/Technical Assistance. We provide administrative and/or fiscal sponsor support to projects such as Milwaukee Rental Housing Resource Center, Nonprofit Lift, and Kin Universe.
