Who we are: Urban Housing Solutions is Nashville's largest nonprofit provider of affordable housing. Founded in 1991, UHS is Nashville's nonprofit leader in innovative and supportive housing options. We believe in hope, opportunity, and second chances for Nashvillians. Our team successfully establishes desirable communities that are stable, vibrant, and affordable. We open doors to new possibilities, while revitalizing and advancing Nashville's neighborhoods. What we do: We believe that many overlooked groups--the homeless, those with mental disabilities, low-income residents, and young professionals--should have the opportunity to afford stable, vibrant communities to live, grow, and advance. Urban Housing Solutions works to revitalize communities through our creative housing options and support services. We also revitalize dilapidated properties by transforming them into functioning tools that help progress Nashville and its residents. Mission: To fulfill unmet housing needs in Nashville with innovative solutions that help revitalize and advance communities. Vision: We envision a city that is vibrant, thriving, and affordable to all if its residents and is inclusive of all--particularly those who have been traditionally marginalized.
