Open since 2012, Urban Market is independently owned by two local Durango women. We’re honored to have been voted Durango’s Best Furniture Store, Best Home Decor Store, and Best Gift Shop nine years in a row! Located in the heart of downtown Durango, Colorado, we consider ourselves a modern-day “urban market” in the sense that we showcase a continually changing wide-range of products with a distinctive style and feel. We offer modern home goods and décor; furniture; kitchen, bar and entertaining supplies; lighting; jewelry, and gifts for any occasion. We feature a broad range of products that you won’t find anywhere else in Durango — from furniture to greeting cards, rugs & lighting to jewelry. We can truly be considered a one-stop local Durango shop, in the sense that you could come in looking for a birthday gift, and not only leave with that, but also leave with the perfect throw pillows, new dining room chairs, and a new cookbook — all in one trip. We’ve always strived to bring a bit of urban flavor to Durango while staying true to Durango’s own unique style. Markets in the past used to function as central meeting places for a town or community, and we like to think that we also embody a sense of that as well — a place to meet up with your friends for a fun outing together. Just upstairs from our original location you’ll find Durango’s favorite furniture store and design studio. Stop in to shop our in-stock furniture, view samples from our furniture vendors, or meet with our design team to create a gorgeous, custom look for your home. Our designers offer interior decorating services, and can help you design the perfect piece of furniture or an entire room!
