About Urban Spring | B Corp
Urban Spring is a certified B Corp, with a mission to significantly reduce single-use plastic bottles by planting a reliable network of well-designed and well-maintained water refill stations for different locations and occasions. Well井 is Urban Spring's signature water station which is designed in Hong Kong. Well井 has smart features and uses data to monitor usage and operating conditions to ensure clean filtered drinking water is consistently served to our community. What do we mean by sustainable? Hong Kong on average consumes 1.5 million plastic bottled water every day. And some of these water travel half way around the world to reach us! Hong Kong recycling facility, and even sadly landfill, cannot handle this amount of plastic waste. Our city needs a more realistic solution to water. We need to drink water smarter. What do we mean by refreshing? We believe the most refreshing way is to enjoy water the way it is. We don’t believe in over the top solution. At the same time, we want to make it fun and engaging. It is the trendy way of consuming water. So what is our solution? We have a holistic approach and one of our solutions is to provide a new water experience for the Hong Kong people through a smart, safe and affordable water station. We are not a water dispenser manufacturer. What is this holistic approach? We believe in education. We believe in advocacy. We believe in beach clean up. Most of all, we believe in solutions at the source. Therefore, we take the lead and provide a new way of delivering water to our city. At the same time, we always look for opportunity to partner with people and organisations with similar mind-set. We are part of the overall movement. The movement to do the right thing for our city.
