About Urban West Architecture
Urban West Architecture is a young, design-focused architecture with offices in Vancouver and Victoria. Our current work spans a variety of project types including custom single family residences, duplexes, condominiums, commercial buildings and renovations. We have projects located throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and along the Sea-To-Sky corridor. We are constantly looking for opportunities to innovate in the areas of environmental design and construction. Several of our projects are pursuing Passive House certification and we are currently working on the design of an 8 storey Passive House Multi-unit Residential Building constructed with a CLT structure. Our design process is highly collaborative – we work closely with developers, contractors and fabricators early in the design process in order to provide highly informed, environmentally conscious and economic design solutions for our clients. We listen closely to our clients’ needs and work tirelessly to help them achieve their goals. The studio is led by Justin Bennett who brings over 15 years of experience working for several well recognized firms such as Mackay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects, Perkins + Will and Michael Green Architecture. .
