Creating learning and improving wellbeing, through human-wildlife relationships in urban spaces. - Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation - Education and personal development - Conservation Research funded by the Open University: What can we learn from our relationships with 'everyday' urban wildlife; about us, about them, and about our collective wellbeing? This 3-year project seeks to explore the connections we form with the wild animals we most often ignore, dismiss or revile - the 'common, boring' ones, the 'pests' and the 'vermin', the 'invaders' and the creepy crawlies. Jackdaws on the chimney pots, spiders on the bedroom wall, squirrels on the bird feeders. What can we learn about our own animal nature through relationships with other wild animals with whom we share our most intimate spaces?
