About UrbanAIR Project
UrbanAIR – Urban simulation for air quality and heat resilience strategies UrbanAIR, funded by the European Commission, unites leading universities, research institutes, industry, and public authorities to create an advanced digital twin for cities. The tool helps decision-makers tackle heat and air quality challenges, improving public health and socio-economic wellbeing in a changing climate. Through a user co-creation approach, UrbanAIR combines high-resolution atmospheric modelling with scenario simulations to support climate adaptation and hazard management. Fully integrated into the Destination Earth platform, it offers dynamic, accessible tools that enable municipalities and industry to make informed, future-ready urban planning decisions. ---- Funded by the European Union under Grant Agreement number 101188131. Views and opinions expressed are, however, those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or European Research Executive Agency (REA).
