Studio Urrebuk creates "Mixed Media Movies". We use animation as a diverse communication tool, Urrebuk combines the best suitable techniques for a wide range of projects. We create animations for independent and commissioned projects using traditional, computer and live-action tools. The first thing we do at the start of an assignment or movie project is discuss the underlying concept, the message that needs to be communicated or the story to be told. Once the idea is clear we focus on choosing the technique that suits best given the context, audience and budget. We firmly believe technique should never limit our expressions, instead it gives us new opportunities! Therefore we never limit ourselves to using just one technique when combining different methods gives us the best possibilities and creates new interesting imagery.
