About USFHL

The philosophy of USFHL is to support and develop local adult field hockey in the US, and also to bring all of the US communities together in various ways, for example, competing in Nationals. Rules for Nationals are to encourage a competition of the best teams from all over the US. Not the best all-stars. So no flying in internationals or people from elsewhere in the US. We want to put a spotlight on adult clubs to increase local club participation. We need a structure that brings us together and technology supporting so that people can get plugged into leagues, clubs, or open hockey easily. We have formed an advisory board made up of leaders from the competitive communities to advise and drive decisions.We are a National league where adult competitive communities throughout the US compete to be National Champions. USFHL is organized under one Advisory Board made up of reps from each local community who enforce the rules and regulations. The website and app will organize and market adult hockey on a National level and direct athletes to local league & club websites for local info. The local communities are autonomous and they choose which team will represent them at the National Championship. However the method must be approved by the Advisory Board and follow the USFHL Rules and By-Laws.
