About Utility Management Group
Many places throughout the world are facing fresh water shortages. Here in the United States, 38 States are either already experiencing shortage or are expected to be within five years. Increasing water use restrictions and higher rates are becoming the norm in many areas. Competition for water between agriculture, residential, industrial and environmental uses are escalating. The ways in which we use and value water are rapidly changing. Organizations that need water must evaluate their vulnerabilities and adapt or they are not likely to survive. We work under contract to provide outsourced management and operation of small water utilities. By serving many small utilities we provide an economy of scale that only larger systems normally enjoy. This enables us to provide a higher level of service at a cost that is typically much less then our in-house counterparts. Typical services include: • Regulatory compliance and reporting • Routine inspections • Emergency response, 24 hour availability • Water quality and production monitoring • Cross-connection control and backflow assembly testing • Construction management and coordination • Meter reading, customer billing
