About UTIMUS

UTIMUS means "We Employ" in Latin. At UTIMUS our motto is "We Empower Employment", which we achieve by working with a network of partners to identify, recruit, train, mentor and place New-Canadians into meaningful jobs across Canada. We are proud of our partnerships with McMaster University's McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute (MMRI), EdTek Services, The Strong Link (TSL) and the International Working Centre (IWC), all organizations that help us deliver quality training and also ensure that our New-Canadians are trained for and placed in jobs that meet their aspirations as well as the requirements of the labour market. The team at UTIMUS has helped thousands of New-Canadians, particularly Afghans and Ukrainians. As retraining can often be a daunting process, we mentor our New-Canadians to ensure they are cared for along the path to full employment. By providing mentorship from those who have been through the process successfully, in their native language as required, UTIMUS ensures a high success rate in job placement. We continue to support our New-Canadians after employment, thereby increasing retention rates for employers. At UTIMUS, we empower employment!
